GrowVolution e.V. is a non-profit association born out of dissatisfaction, and out of the conviction that change does not start at the top but with every single person. We do not hand out answers. We help you find your own.

Why we exist
Almost every organisation grows out of dissatisfaction. Ours did too. Going through party politics was never on the table — not out of rejection, but because it feels ineffective against what actually bothers us. So we took the slower road.
An education system that administers knowledge instead of waking curiosity and independent thought.
Political communication that ends in camps instead of arriving at a solution.
Social media whose psychological mechanics work against the people using them.
A social readiness to delegate responsibility upwards instead of starting yourself.
Unhappy with something? Then start with yourself.
What can you do to move that situation? Our founder found his answer to that question — it is in the register of associations today. Now it is our job to help you find yours.
No esoteric fluff, no cost, and certainly no template for what your answer should look like.
The name is the approach
Growth stands for development — that of the individual. For the collective decision of many individuals to take responsibility, engage with their own life and work on solutions to what makes them unhappy.
(R)Evolution stands for what follows: not an upheaval, but systemic change as the sum of those decisions. The word marks the contrast to the classic, direct, reform-political road. We do not think in electoral terms but in decades.

What we work on
Four areas where we make this concrete. Some of it runs, some is being built — all of it hangs on the same questions.
Courses and formats where we try out alternative didactic concepts. We gather experience worth building on and develop further what works.
Learning differentlySupport for your own thinking: self-reflection, clarifying goals, and exchange with people carrying similar questions. No recipe, no predetermined outcome.
Meeting yourselfWe orchestrate makerspaces and provide non-profit shared infrastructure — at pure cost. You cover what running it costs the association, one to one, with no markup.
Sharing itDiscourse formats on neutrally moderated ground, focused on the question and a workable solution. Where wagging fingers and slogans start, we step in. Promoting democratic society (§ 52 (2) no. 24 of the German Fiscal Code) is written into our statutes.
Learning to argueIt does not work without donations
We sell nothing, run no ads and have no funding pots to fall back on. What is built here — courses, spaces, infrastructure, this platform — exists because people decide to make it possible. Even five euros a month moves something.

The long road
We write this down so it is clear what we are working towards — not because it will be done tomorrow. The horizon is decades, and each phase builds on what we learned in the one before.
Phase 1 · Trying
Test alternative didactic concepts in practice and gather experience worth building on.
Phase 2 · Condensing
Derive structures from what has been tried — supplementary schools, for instance. Learn again, develop, let it mature.
Phase 3 · Anchoring
On that basis, found our own independent schools and bring what we learned into a form that carries.
Transparent & decentralised
We organise decentrally and publish our structures. Statutes and supplementary rules are public. Delegation here is a mandate with accountability, not a hierarchy.
Open to everyone
The association lives on exchange. Our community sits on Matrix — decentralised, open source, no ads and no algorithm deciding what you get to see. Come in, read along, ask, take part.
